Polaroid

Just when we thought Christmas is over after BBQ and a late night bath, I returned home to see the Polaroid we shared in my room :D

Perfectly bubble wrapped packed in a parcel.

Waited nearly a week for it to be delivered. Halfway I thought I'm cheated.

Shopping at Gmarket is such a saving. I asked a handful of shops how much is their's, I get $149/ $177 in return. Here I get 40 plain + 40 colored films for $78! And..

$99 for this from here.

Insert a cartridge of file. Smiled like an idiot for 5 seconds and this came out -____-"

The best part of Polaroid is waiting for the photo to be 'developed' or whatever terms you use while it's changing. With colored film it's like a small surprise cause you don't know what color will the film be.

Was secretly hoping my brother don't see with his eye instead of view finder.

I don't understand what is so difficult in getting the photo to turn out right when all you have to do is to look through view finder and snap. Just shut the other eye!

Kept the red one in my wallet.

2011 Speech

With the new year approaching much more quickly than i expected, i thought it only polite to think of my new year "resolutions". Which have been the same for about 3 consecutive years; get skinny, keep my room tidy, get over (insert male name) and just generally be "better". This year the skinnyness and tidyness still applies but the get over does not. Yet all this is just a reason to try and perfect ones self a little more. But do we really change year to year? I've never stuck to my new years resolution and i highly doubt this year will be any different. Maybe my resolution will be; be more weird, be you and fuck up a bit but have fun. I can try and have the perfect body, personality, work ethic, hair, nails, personality....but, unfortunately that will never happen. Instead i say screw "resolutions" and hello fucking up and enjoying your year to the max because we will never have another 2011, never! I will have a nice tidy room and i will try and get into perfect shape for summer but there is no point straining myself to end up hot and miserable. LOL. 

Happy New year. Be as drunk as you possibly can...why not?

Red Velvet Cupcake

You know it's time to get a new and better camera when there's an entry with no photos taken from your's!

Point and shoot ain't that lousy, still able to take photos yet it is nothing compared to photos taken by a heavy ugly complicated troublesome expensive high-maintenance DSLR!

Lugged my mixer to XX's place on 23rd (I'm snatching the credit here. Where on earth I get the strength to do that?) to bake a few batches of red velvets for the party with a recipe I googled not tested. Thank sky thanks floor they turned out yummeh!

OMG. Look at the sharpness.

I forgot part of our ingredients that day due to my brainlessness and not confirming availability with XX.

He had to make a trip to supply store for food coloring > back to my place for Bailey's only to see there's no one home > supermarket for chocolates > his place to pass me chocolates and bake a bit with me > back to my place to get Bailey's > home.

Blah! Felt so angry with myself.

Clarity.

Just mix cocoa powder with enough red food coloring till it's lumpy for redness.

 Topped with Bailey's coffee icing.

Again, i apologise for the shit camera quality, my macbook hasn't got a trillion megapixels. Jumper and shoes were bought in sale YIPEEE, i LOVE sales, they're amazing. I love christmas and then i love christmas throw up of beautiful cheap clothes :D yay. Add a nail necklace, sparkly socks and what do i look like? Yep, a wannabe Alexa Chung. Ah well there are much worse things to wanna be!

2 blog updates in one evening...all part of my way to put off doing biology revision, english lit essay and all sorts of college crap. i HATE school. I just want to go shopping :'(. I do have a hard life. Im joking, please stop reading this garbage and go give to the poor.

How i love my webcam and effects. Could waste my life taking pictures, the comedy value is just wonderful. Me and vic laugh with her over active tear glads and my inability to control my saliva, ending up with soggy surroundings. Our relentless sweet consumption didn't help the matter but it was all in the name of fun and girlyness :). We spent our evening taking pictures, eating and talking to random boys (fully clothed, not touching their genitals) on chatroulette. What more do you need for a perfect sleepover? I will have sleep overs til the day i die. 

This is rude, i should introduce my hot blonde friend. I have 3 loves of my life, being; dillion (my cuddly toy cheetah (yes you read right)), my boyfriend, and......the urchin sitting next to me. (*disclaimer* boyfriend and urchin, always loved but often hated) WAFFLE WAFFLE WAFFLE. I prefere potato waffles to those cakey things.

ANYWAY

Alex from "A clockwork Orange"

One of my stocking fillers was "A Clockwork Orange". It's one of those films i feel you have to see, and so i did, i was disturbed and still am. Saying this i did enjoy it, but freaky. The most disturbing thing is that i found the rape and the murder (with a giant erect penis) much less disturbing than him nearly throwing up. Directors intention blah blah blah i know! Much more of a kind of political film than i thought it would be. I think i need to watch it again to take it in properly. I started to loose concentration near the end, really long film! I do like a good eccentric english film. Very striking cinematography! Good looking movie!

2 more days and it will be a new year! I was thinking what's my 2010 resolutions.. but I cant remember so I went back to my 2009 December archives to find out & realised I didn't make any for this year! haha.cos I know I seldom do my resolution(s)! hahahaha.

But I always do conclusion of my year during the last few days of the year! :)

- I am officially a adult!

- I had completed my first year of bond!

- Made a lot of new friends at work :)

- One year of happines with Toh Jiarui

- Closed the gap between the girls :)

- Went Genting with Babay

- Got itouch from Babay:)

- Bought my bb curve

- Bought a camera for myself

- Monday came into our lifes!

What a materialistic year-.-

Overall I had quite a happy year though. hahaha.

Christmas with XX

Had my best and busiest Christmas this year.

Spent the whole Christmas eve running around east side preparing for XX's folk's party from 11am to 6pm. Supposed to be earlier but I overslept. Went to round market > home > Gourmet East Kitchen > Tampines Mall > Sheng Siong > home.

Actually I wasn't the busy one, merely tagged along to see how preparation is done and constantly repeating what is missing from shopping list. Kind of annoying to think about it now.

Didn't get the chance to snap any photos in the morning whilst buying the necessity, not even to twit! A bit kua zhang but when we sit down we're like, "where are going next?" "_____ then ____ then ____ then _____ ...." Fill in the blanks with places we went to.

Felt so satisfied being busy over something productive. Most of the time I'm  just lazing around using my mouth to command people. Speaking of productive, my html assignment. Le sigh..

You hardly hear anybody calling me Ching Mei nowadays, when it does, you know I love that person. At least my girlfriends, bff and occasionally, bf calls me that.
