Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2009

No more hassle in making up your mind on what to wear or any anticipation..

For the event is over and time for us ( in this case, ME! ) to blog about it !

Skipped school to ensure I don't have to rush half my life away just so I look presentable and on time.
An appointment with stylist to get my hair done when short hair seems to be a wrong choice.

I have potential to be a SQ girl.
For the least I think I got that look lah.

Alright, whatever.



Eventually we reached the event - Late.
All thanks to regional meeting. Our cab fare was incredible.

Out of the many tables they had, we were allocated table 9 with us - Jessica, Esther,
Typical Ben, Randy and Shawn - sitting under projector screen (worst seats).

Almost broke my neck from all those turning and tilting.



Started off with a wedding speech by Ming and Tim then videos on how Nuffnang began
plus their branches like Australia etc.

Its wonder how they grew up so big.



Yummy 4 mouthwatering course dinner!
Realized I didn't snap the soup after finishing it.

While food are served, there were performance going on.
First by J C Sum and 'Magic Babe' Ning.



All I can remember about the next also the last was an ear blasting performance
by a band I have no idea of.

Deafening.



Giving out the awards was awesome moment though we more or less expected
who's gonna win. Now I have many more blogs to read(:

I've got my nametag and nursing practising cert :)

Collected my uniforms & shoes, and removed the very ugly & useless shoulder pads. They make my shoulder look very wide and muscular.

2 more weeks and I will start working as a Staff Nurse,

It's omg fast and end of my freedom for 3 years.

I am going to have the responsibility of a Staff Nurse... Sure is very scary. I will do my best though. (:

I love my nametags as long as "Norin" is on them

This is my secondary school nametag ironed-on.

It doesn't has my name "Norin" in it. ):

So people who don't really know me will called me "Mei Ling" which I don't really like that time.

That makes me think of a very funny incident years ago when I were still in secondary school. Got this schoolmate who chatted with me on msn.

Me : How you know my name is Norin?

The person : Oh.. I saw your nametag!

Me : ...... oh. (o.O)

But till now I never told the person that "Norin" is never in my nametag.

LOL.

She is finally 18 years old!

I dont know what to do to close this gap....

Something is just hard to say in words

Sometimes we might do/say something hurtful and we didnt know about it

Sometimes we do care, it's just that we didn't say or show it

Sometimes we didn't hear/listen to you, not purposely

Sometimes we just don't know how to show the care we have for each other.

I hope we can go back to the old times, where we were so much closer

Now I will just wait.... if that's what I can only do.

I just don't want this misunderstanding to deepen and this gap to grow.

I do cry over it...cos it is not just one, two, three .
