Prawning Part Two!

My hair is like getting more & more red! Not black or purple leh -.- But okay, its still nice. I love it!:D

Okay... we are going to start to "fish" for prawn :)

This is the floater that will indicate if a prawn is hooked or not.

So its mine & Yaozong's first time. Jr's second time and Alicia's countless times of prawning :)

A few minutes after they threw their rod.... they caught one already!!! -.-

So Jr & I waited...... & waited. Threw out our rod a few times, fed the prawns without catching any.

waiting... patiently...

Still waiting patiently:) I went to take a net basket.. just in case we caught one! hahaha

Prawnless for a long time..... & finally we caught our first prawn!!:D Yz & Alicia caught another one at the same time!!

Very happy guys.

And we were trying to unhook the prawn to free them.

This is the bait..

Is it chicken liver or chicken heart?

After our first prawn, we caught a lot of prawns. Also need to thanks the uncle who is so professional in prawning. We need to see that the floater sinked, or felt resistance to know we caught one. BUT he can just see the floater and he will know if there is prawn(s) nearby or not, if its eating the bait not, when to pull even before the floater sinks!

I  caught about three prawns on my own:)

The uncle in white caught a huge prawn!! Looked like lobster!! I was trying to take a picture of the big prawn... haha, but its a little pointless.

Alicia caught one huge prawn!!!!! :O

And after the commotion... we are back in our old seats.. waiting for prawn.

Time to clean the prawn for bbqing...

And this is the worst part. Because you have to killed the prawns which are still alive.

AND OUR 31 PRAWNS AND 1 HUGE PRAWN ARE READY~

They are nice, really sweet. Maybe a little overcooked. haha, but its our hard work :)

Will post more laterrr... I'm waiting for our 8th prawn now:) and the uncle is damn good, so nice of him to teach us a few good tips!

I looked forward to today because its Friday! And its a great day at work because I get to assist in operation I wanted to scrub for:) I believe its a good start to my weekends!!
