The day dedicated to Nurses

I know there's people who looked down on nurses. Once I overheard a conversation on the train of a stranger and his friend. He was advising his friends what degree he should take and he said, "Don't bother take Nursing degree, take a degree only to help other people change diapers"

Shame on him to say that about nurses. Yes, its not hard to be a nurse. No need excellent grades to get into NYP/NP to study Nursing.. You can even go ITE to become a Enrolled Nurse. But its not a easy course.. We studied human body and illnesses, skills that not everyone will know, things and knowledge that needed brain. During times when other students are enjoying holiday, we were having our attachments. So we will become a more experienced nurses when we graduated. We've seen blood, organs, urine, shit.. Anything that can be in or out of a human. To be a good nurse, it isn't easy. With the overloaded work we need to do, from the demands of the patients and their relatives, some unappreciated doctors, some annoying colleagues and all other unpredictable events, we still have to do our job.. Hopefully with a smile. Without nurses, what will happen to the patients?

I'm happy about my job:) I like it when my patient is well. I'm sad when I have to see them go. I will never forget how my patients made me feel when they hold my hand and thanked me during my past attachments. Although I'm a scrub nurse now, contact with the patient is very minimum, I will always make sure I give my best to my patient when I meet them in the induction room, before transferring and after operation.

I hope one day when the stranger need nurses to care for him, he will regret what he said and appreciate them. If you see a nurse around, why not give them a smile to brighten up their day before work or to lessen their tiredness after their work.

So here, I wish all the brave Nurses out there...

HAPPY NURSES' DAY!<3

It dawned on me this afternoon how reliant I was on Boy for driving me around when I felt depress after lunch.I was like :((( where’s my boy?? Maternity Dress - How about a Nursing Cardigan?

A basic Nursing Cardigan could be a great choice to consider for both pregnancy and nursing period.I have experience some modern mom wearing them for 9-5 office hour but also wearing them during street hanging out and guess what, they just look great and fabulous.

Once you have selected one, sure you will fall in love with the ¾ Sleeve Nursing Cardigan. Yes right, it just a basic piece that should be part of your nursing wardrobe. You can going it with everything and anything, possible a singlet and jean,  just a finger tips to built for your own image, your own style. A good nursing cargide shoule be made from light-weight cotton, soft texture definately is a must, comfortable and easy-to-wear. It make us for easier breastfeeding, unclasp the buttons to nurse discreetly from the inner mock layer.

Let Google Maps 5.8 for Android Take You Places And More With Photo uploads, My Places, and more!

Google Maps 5.8 for Android http://snapvoip.blogspot.com/
Looks like Google Maps for Android is ready to take you places or help you to organize and keep the memories you made at various places. Because the first thing I read bout the Google Maps 5.8 for Android was that it can complement and improve, Google Places and Google Latitude, by (I have not downloaded the Google Maps to my Android Tablet, EEE Pad Transformer, yet so I will have to take Benjamin Grol, a Google Product Manager's word for it;
Upload photos for a Place
My Places as a simple way to manage the Places you’ve starred and recently viewed
Descriptive terms for Places in search results
Add a new Place on-the-go when checking in
With photo upload feature you can enhance others experience of places you have been by contributing photos of places you have been. If your photo is a striking one, your photo might end up being the profile photo of that place page!

My places and descriptive terms came to the desktop version of Google Maps this June but now you, moblie Google map user, can enjoy the same features. Descriptive terms will appear when you search places. If you press your phones 'Menu' button while in the Google Maps, you will be taken to 'My Places'.
The other notable feature is now you are able to add places while on the go. This will come in handy if one of your favourite places is not in the Places list. If you do a search on places for a location that you know exists and come up with nada, you can use the option, 'add a place', to add the place that can be checked in via Latitude. Do not forget that ‘Download map area’ has been renamed ‘Pre-cache map area.’
So the next thing for me and you is to get the Google Maps 5.8 for Android but make sure that you have at least Android 2.1+ OS on your device.

Day Two from Shenzhen to Hongkong

The hotel provide free breakfast buffet :)
.
And its time to hit the "town"!
Special coin to take the train.. its amazing that we can tap into the station with it! :D

Lao jie, I miss you so much!! :'(

At first I was thinking what a name... heard alot about it, thats why we decided to go over. But the name is so not convincing, lol!

There's sooooo many things to shop over there! Check out the crowd! And notice that alot of people are carrying umbrella which I bought mine over there too! It's very cheap!! :D I think maybe $2!?
The weather there is horribly hot... When I'm feeling to hot, I will have heat rashes. And I had rashes almost everyday over there!!!! -.-

This place is like far east!! So many things and so cheap BUT still can bargain!!! lol. We got not much time though, have to check out our hotel room to go to Hongkong already.

Before heading back to hotel, we lunched at KFC.
And my FIRST milktea there is from KFC!!! hahaha. Why Singapore's do not serve that!? Its actually quite nice :)

Prawn burger!
And rice with chicken & mushroom! :)

Alot of shopping loots:D

I wanted Babay to take a photo of me dropping the coin to exit. BUT its a failed shoot! hahaha.
He should have take the shoot from the inside NOT the outside!
LOL.
Alot of their escalators were shut down for investigation.. cause of the escalator incidents happened in China. And we were really sad.... all the stairs climbing :(

I like our hotel in Shenzhen, we can check out at 3pm!
We walked to Hongkong.. literally :)
They are so near to each other... And HONGKONG here we are!

Ours is Ezlink, theirs is Octopus.

Guess where is our destination?:)

And we are at Yau Ma Tee
OUR HOTEL IS THERE!:D

What I really love about Hongkong is the road signs and street signs!

kai le jiu kai xin :o)

After we checked in and put our luggages down, we headed out to ladies' street nightmarket!
Hello familiar face from Taiwan!<3

FOOOOOOOOOD
:D

Uncle found his favourite blue top from Bossini which Singapore is no longer selling. He is so happy and bought 6 same blue tops! haha. So cute.. we tried asking him to buy other colours but he only like the light blue ones'.

This trip make me realised how good is Toh Jiarui at bargaining. haha, he really can bargain till a really good price :) I am so lucky to have him with me! heehee.. I am very bad at bargaining -.-

Their wantan mee is sooooo nice and their wantan is full of prawnSSSS!
yum. I am hungry already.

LOOTS OF THE DAY! :D
I regretted not buying alot of things from Shenzhen... their things are really so much cheaper than Hongkong!! Think the hongkee bought their things from Shenzhen lo!!

My favourite loot of the day is this....
Babay managed to bargain until a very good price $12. But guess what!! Later in the trip I saw the exact same one in China, Zhu hai, selling at $6..... I wanna cry! I can buy two pairs with $12!!!! :O

Two beds, one to sleep one to put all our things! :)
Cosy room and the best thing about this hotel is we got free wifi!!!!
End with this!! Its obiang hair dryer~ hahaha. which isnt good at all.

-DAY THREE SOON~!!-

I know I will take forever to post finish my Hongkong, China & Macau trip. Last week I wasn't in the best mood. But I am back now!
Miss Annual Leave is visiting me again! oh my god, so happy :D
hahaha.
