How I met my boyfriend

Several times I've said,
"I'm really grateful to have my boyfriend."

I never knew I'd meet someone who'll influence, shower love and have patience
on me as much or even more than my dad. At least for now.

Months back, a couple of people ask me how I met him.
I said I'd blog about it on Valentine's Day but I didn't

Pardon me for not keeping my words, I was too lazy to do it.

So here goes...

We met while I was working at F1
Having ice-cream in a giant fridge

Edelyn, my sister, asked me if I wanna take up a fun and good paying job; working at at F1.
I agreed coz she was working but later she disappeared into China.

XX called me nearly everyday and sometimes a few times a day,
asking me to get a replacement. Swear his call was the last thing I wanna see.

He'd go:
XX: Erm. Hi. This is Xin Xian
Me: *WTF mentally* *roll eyes* *smile* Hello? Ya, why?
XX: Are you able to find a replacement for the F1 job? Coz you'll be working alone if you don't.
Me: It's alright. I can work alone. *Better not ask someone along so I can play the MIA card*
Me: Can I not work?
XX: Sorry, you can't coz we're short of people *polite*Me: *omg, he'll be in shit if I go MIA* Ok Ok. But look for a replacement too. Just in case I can't get one.
XX: Yaya, will do. Thank you
ME: kkthxbye *hang up*

Imagine doing this (a few times) everyday for a week!!

Working wasn't the best thing. Whatever fun was nonsense. I had to wake up early. Skip yoga (waste $$) and
no leisure for that 3 - 4 days.

I chipped my nail color.
I broke my liquid foundation.
Work ended one day later than another.
Everyday was frigging hot like massive oven.

On the last day of work I wanted to hitch a ride home but XX was like, "No! Wait for me!" I tried rejecting a few times but ended up waiting 3 hours for him; till 3am (up till now he still feel puzzled for why did he stop me and feel happy for saying that).

Somehow, somewhere he asked me out for lunch the next night. Instead of texting him I posted my sushi cravings on FB and there! He texted me and we were out.

We met every single day then on.
1st it was Sakae,
2nd IKEA,
3rd he went to Khatib to fetch me and the others home after Andy's party. Felt bad to make him drove all the way there but he insist and I.. Well.. Sort of wanted to see him.

Remember I used to work at Frolick? Stopped because I had school.
He volunteered to pick me up everyday and once in a while, bring me out for supper when I have
cravings. I rejected his offer a few times but he was so kind and WHO DOESN"T WANT A FREE RIDE?!

HAHAHA!

We meet everyday and whenever possible. It's been 6 months? Since we're together and I still enjoy seeing him (till now) all the time though I throw bitch fit once in awhile, like I did today. There isn't a date we got together coz I'm not a romantic person and we can celebrate the entire month. Most importantly I get to demand for anything for a month.

Smart move uhh?

He or at least we, used to buy roses a lot but after that bouquet, I've only receive one.
I'd like to see that as... I don't know? BUT I STILL LOVE ROSES!!!!

I know I didn't before. I changed my mind.

Talk about destiny/ faith/ coincidence. Our mums knew each other long ago. Even before I was born!

XX's family moved to Simei during 1992 when my mum was pregnant with me and helping my dad out at the market (I call that abuse lor! Pregnant lady helping out in the market. Have he got no heart?! LOL!) and XX's mum was a customer.

Previously during CNY we were worried about our folks meeting each other and XX's mum asked him, "What's wrong with me asking my friends over?! I can't ask my friends home meh?!"

On the 1st year I went to help my dad out at his stall, I met his mum and my mum was like:

Mum: Neh, dear. This is our regular customer. She's very nice.
Me: Orh *nonchalance*
XX's mum: Hello. *megawatt smile* Your daughter ahh?
Mum: Yupp, I have another elder one and a younger son
XX's mum: Ohh. I have 3 sons.
*insert conversation of mothers chatting about kids' age*
Me: *WtF? not like I'm going to marry your son*

After recalling this scene in my head, I am now very careful about the thoughts I generate and things I said.

The importance of voice

I still remember once I went to work with a bad throat and almost no voice.

I was scrubbed up and wanted to ask for something... normally a few seconds task took me a few more minutes. First is to get the circulating nurse attention, then is to say out what I want, with the horrible voice I had, and they cant hear or understand me. haha.

it was horrible.

And tomorrow I have to experience it all over again.. cos the bad throat is back.

The Make up Post

Nope, its not going to be a post that teach you how to make up. ha ha. I am not that professional. But its a post about make up. I saw some people commenting about make up being fake, how different a person is without make up, make up=mask, faker etc. And I decided to do a post to speak up about people who make up.

Yes, I do looked different with and without makeup. But if I looked the same, why do I even bother to make up? -.- That's the purpose right, to look prettier :)

To me, make up is a confidence booster. (:

I don't have a perfect skin complexion so I depend on make up to give me a even tone & to cover up my pimple(s) & scars. I do like the comfortable feeling without make up but I will rather feel pretty than comfortable. Its my face.. my decision. Unless you are the lucky ones, who has a better complexion or/and have high dose of confidence. Lucky you :)

Those who wore make-up are fakers? Wearing mask?

Then I will dare those people, who think that way, not to put any makeup during their wedding or any special occasion(s). Don't need to look your best, Be true to yourself and others.

And those who wore make-up will never bluff others that they are not wearing any make up.. cos its obvious that they are. So what is so fake about doing make up?

Make ups do make wonder, don't you agree?
Some rely on it for their double eyelids. Some rely on them for their prettier eyes. Some rely on them for a better skin complex(like me!) & many more!!!

Natural beauty, yes.
But prettier you & me, why not? :)

The doctor said I've caught a virus. But he was surprise that no one around me is/was sick.

Instead of panadol for my headache and fever, he given me ibuprofen.
Instead of lozenges for my sorethroat, he given me danzen. Good cos I don't like lozenges:)

I've not been blogging cos I was having too much fun! haha. To the extent, my body gave way and fell sick on my OFF day!! -.- Wasted a day.. I wanted to do alot of things today, like blogging. doing .gif images, surfed the net, maybe go eat swensen &sushi. haha. But I was so sick that I slept till evening today!

Now I'm much better, I shall blog! :D
