Sorry for the hiatus in blogging. I've been working for Tiger at F1, the pay is pathetic consider that it's for F1 but it was fun! We went there 15 minutes earlier to take the dispenser facing the concert stage. Partying and working at the same time (Y)
For work I've missed 2 Sunday Breakfast in a row. 3 Sundays ago, Andy and I went to Crystal Jade for dim sum breakfast. We're dim sum lovers!
You don't see many people elsewhere in the mall but the restaurant was filled with people, I had to look everywhere for Andy who turned out to be by the wall.
Evil peanuts that cost you $2.
Best source of calcium after milk.
Standard dim sum list with a variety of food but always order the same thing.
Char siew rice roll.Quite a few chunk of meat with charred side, didn't like the bitter and black taste it has.
Har gao!
EGG TARTS!No dim sum can do without egg tart other than that char siew I can never resist.
I was very excited about their egg tarts cause in my memory, eons ago, it had a really distinctive taste like the best egg tart I've ever eaten. Unfortunately, it taste mediocre now :(
Custard corn bun.
Flooded with juicy corn and custard.
Have I mention that Imperial Treasure have very nice salted yolk custard bun?! If you're health freak just go easy for once and try it.
BEHOLD!!
CHAR SIEW BAO!No char siew bao is a char siew bao when they don't look like this, feels like imitation.
More like Sunday Feast.
While eating I was making comparison of their dim sum with Imperial Treasure's. To me, Imperial Treasure is better. In terms of service or food we're talking about, not like CJ's is lousy but IT's really good. Super attentive and fast waitress who'll check and rush your orders for you.
Almost $10 cheaper than Imperial Treasure's.
Can't wait for the next Sunday Breakfast!
