Thinking Anna is dead, Billy prepares for her funeral on top of the yacht.
On the very spot where Anna had her accident, Billy drops his wife’s ring and goes to fetch it. He ends up tripping over his own foot and falling off the side of the boat, in the exact same way his wife fell the night before.
Realizing this could have been the way Anna died, Billy begins to think whether assuming her death as a suicide was a hasty move.
Billy is driving down the country road when he sees Anna, walking past the supermarket.
Feeling an eerie sense of recognition, he quickly turns around, but he only sees her back.
Meanwhile, Kangja coaxes Anna to take ice-cream from the store, and Anna ends up getting chased by the store owner to pay for the ice-cream. She escapes all the way to the bridge, where she once again comes face-to-face with Billy. She doesn’t recognize him, but Billy, seeing her, thinks she is a ghost coming back to haunt him from the grave.
Billy is swept by feelings of guilt and anxiety, since he now believes he’s the cause of her death.
However, Mr. Gong, his trusted secretary, lays out evidence of Eugene's clothes, his business card, and Anna’s speeding ticket, and begins a case of an extra-marital affair between Anna and Eugene.
By doing so, he claims Anna’s death had nothing to do with Billy.
Billy can’t forgive his wife for cheating on him, even though he now thinks of her as dead. He decides to meet Eugene.
