Fashion victims- elegance is dead, say hello to her shabby counterpart
Of course, not everyone finds the same things appealing, but I agree with Twiggy Song, web fashion editor of Cosmopolitan’s Chinese site, who said "Cheap clothes always look cheap – especially in an animal print”.
1- Animal prints:
An accessory, say, a scarf, shoes, a thin belt, or even a small clutch/envelope purse may add a little fun & spice to your outfit, but wearing a tight dress with cheetah print, especially if you have bleached hair extensions, and fake tan is just plain cheesy & vulgar. If you are a fan of the Miami look, then you should at least stay away from this style (or perhaps, should I say the lack of?).
2- Fake tan:
Two words: "oompa loompa".
3-Harem Pants:
Thanks to Yves Saint Laurent, who was the first to design these three years ago. They make you look short legged, plus, since when has filled-nappy become sexy?
4-Fidel Castro hats:
Unless you have a beard, and led the transformation of Cuba into a one-party socialist republic in 1959, take it off, s'il vous plaît.
5-Crocs:
Last, but not least! I don't know if it's considered a fashion trend, but a ridiculous amount of people wear them. I don't care how comfortable they may be, they are pathetic, especially the holed ones. AND they look bad with every other article of clothing ever created. Thank God, I've read that there is a relief for this fashion disaster- 100,000 pairs of these distinctive plastic shoes are on their way to Japan. So I forgive them, for I am a huge fan of companies who step up to support people in need.
